Ok, so I'mma get straight to the point, Navythron or a Kronos for level 4's ? Only thing I can think of a Kronos over a Navythron is the salvaging while missioning at the same time....help plz ?
All responses (positives) greatly appriciated --------------------

Thanks for reminding me of the paladin, that wakes up a question.
Tbh, I've been thinking of the Kronos because gallente is my second race, my primary is Amarr, but I'm currently doing (working on getting) lvl 4 agent for the gallente faction, so I figured that the Kronos would be better than the Paladin for most common missions that a gallente agent gives me, since it deals kinetic+thermic instead of em+thermic, or am I wrong here? could a paladin still be as effective or just useless s**t ? --------------------

Edited by: royal killer on 20/10/2008 01:10:19 Hitting spider drones at 5k with 425mm's not good tracking enough ? I'd love to see my sentry drones do that...
edit: Of course putting the web bonus into use and fitting a web on it. --------------------

Could I tho use a PAladin effectively enough to do lvl 4 missions for a gallente agent ? I kind of like the paladin more --------------------

Originally by: Arazel Chainfire I recently bought a nightmare, and have been switching back and forth between that and the kronos. To answer the first question about kronos or navy mega, I would do kronos. The easier fitting, more effective turrets, and the web bonus all give it major advantages imo. If you get a faction webber, that web bonus just becomes even nicer .
As for the lasers vs the rails, well, I have almost maxed skills for gunnery for the kronos (damage wise, I'm only missing large rail spec lvl 5). I have caldari bs lvl 3, and large energy turret lvl 4 for the nightmare, and with a tach setup, on missions with more small ships than large the nightmare is almost equal speed. Against more large ships, it shifts in favor of the kronos, but I imagine that will change once I get t2 tachs and caldari bs lvl 5. This is including against angels (got buzz kill twice in a row last night ), as well as agianst serps, though against guristas the kronos still appears to be better.
-Arazel
The Nightmare does more dmg than the Paladin IIRC, but I have very good amarrian skills, so a paladin with 2-3 faction heat sinks, it might do the job wel --------------------

Hmm, interesting points been posted so far....I will go on the test server and test the Paladin against guristas and serpentis rats (I have a caldari agent so), will get a better look of how the Paladin does against them then --------------------
